Just a quick something to share. Had to go for a bit of a drive today with a couple of our kids and a couple of other kids. We were driving at dawn, and as the sun hit the land in a way that everything glimmered, I was listening to Gospel rap artist, Lecrae.

I really enjoy his music because there is so much theology, and also because he communicates the theology using words the young people we work with get and understand. I was listening to his song “Send Me”, I had listened to it many times but this line hit me,

“Missions exist because worship doesnt.”

Think about that just for a moment. Then think about it again.

How very true. Bandaging wounds is good, painting homes, schools, shops is helpful. But a community is truly transformed when they accept Christ, and begin to live by the Spirit and worship the One True, Almighty God.

This is what sets secular organisations apart from Christian ones that offer Christ. When communities live together in the power of the Spirit, Fruit that will last develops, and God is worshipped.
