It’s a word we either hear of a lot or don’t hear of at all. But it’s a topic that when hoped for, in light of Christ’s return, changes us – eternally and profoundly…..ETERNITY.

“Live in such a way that God’s love can bless you as you wait for the eternal life that our Lord Jesus Christ in His mercy is going to give you.” Jude 1:21

Do we call heaven, home?

Do we long for the day we’ll be free from the pains, battles and struggles of this world?

Is heaven sounding sweeter to you each day?

As we approach Easter, and consider the greatest sacrifice made for us by Christ, do we consider what he bought us – with His blood? – Eternity with our Heavenly Father.

I haven’t treasured eternity with Him, as near as much as I should or would like to – but I’ve discovered lately that those Paul and I admire in their faith and walk with the Lord, are those that have their eyes firmly fixed on Him, the author and perfector of our faith and place their hope in the joy that is set before them when they will be united with their saviour in the abode of eternal bliss.
